Our organization is run by an all volunteer staff. Our only sources of revenue is through fundraising and membership dues. We depend on community support to further our mission and goals. As a member of our organization, your membership dues will go toward the day to day operations of our organization. Although, we are a non-profit organization we have expenses such as telephone, website, mailing, etc.

MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

Gold Members- Are members that can serve on committees. Have the opportunity to be elected to the board of directors and once on the board of directors they have the opportunity to run for officer. They are able to assist The Juneteenth West Texas Organization Inc. in gaining members. They are also eligible to assistant in choosing scholarship recipients. However, these members will have no vote in how the organization is run. It is governed by the board of directors but all members are free to state their opinions and the board will consider the advice of all members. Fee $20

Silver Members- Are members that can serve on the committees. They do not have the opportunity to be on the board of directors nor will they have the opportunity to be selected for office. They are able to assist The Juneteenth West Texas Organization Inc. in gaining members. They are also eligible to assistant in choosing scholarship recipients. However, these members will have no vote in how the organization is run. It is governed by the board of directors but all members are free to state their opinions and the board will consider the advice of all members. Silver Membership is for people who want to be partially involved in the organization. Fee $15

Bronze Members- Are general members who do not wish to participate in the operations of the organization but they are willing to contribute to the success of the organization (example: volunteering, donating). They do not have the opportunity to be on the board of directors nor will they have the opportunity to be selected for office. They will not be able to sit on committees. They are able to assist The Juneteenth West Texas Organization Inc. in gaining members. They are also eligible to assistant in choosing scholarship recipients. However, these members will have no vote in how the organization is run. It is governed by the board of directors but all members are free to state their opinions and the board will consider the advice of all members. Bronze Membership is a good way for people to be inactive in the organization but contribute to its success. Fee $10

All membership dues will be due annually but at any time any level of member will have the opportunity to upgrade their membership (except Gold Members but they do have the opportunity to put in a request to sit on the board of directors if a seat is vacant). If they wish to upgrade their membership they are required to pay full price for that membership status. (Example: If a Bronze member wants to become a Gold member they will have to pay $20.00).
